See you soon - Melbourne!

What's your reason for falling in love with Melbourne, the most livable city in the world? cover

Giving ourself to nature does wonders in the most amazing ways, for it has so much to offer that we have to say 'enough of it' for once for the amount that nature offers to us. We need to be grateful to the mother nature for the blessings that it has bestowed on us since the times immemorial since the very dawn of the human civilizations that we have known so far, even before the discovery of the land. Magellan on his way to discover the world route, landed over into the beautiful lands of Australia, the tiny continent surrounded by water on all sides, where no one would escape setting out on another journey like that of Magellan, ay be in search of another Earth on this planet Earth. Well, may be, who knows, anything can happen into the world of inventions and discoveries, for we just need to wake up and give ourselves to the calls of the nature where we can not only discover the outer beauty but also can conquer the inner beauty and our inner self that lays with us.
Few of the destinations that have been on my mind for exploring the live city of Melbourne are mentioned below:
Royal Botanical Garden!
- This beautiful location has the most attractive spots and lists itself as the most preferred destination to be viewed when in Melbourne. Being a nature lover myself, I would to go out on a voyage exploring this lovely location that is beautifully dressed with the gifts and grants of the nature and being a botanical garden, authorities governing to the best of efforts and giving the visitors their delight of the blessed destination.
The Great Ocean Road!
- The long drives at the breath-taking destination of the world is the one called "The Great Ocean Road" located at Melbourne. Since I love motoring, I have the highest and the best of hopes with this place holding prime importance into my wishlist of the places to be visited. I am counting down on the days left for the shortening of my wishlist, when I would be able to strike down to experience this mesmerizing journey on the great ocean road. The wait would be over when I would satisfy my quench of seeing the 12 apostles, London bridge, villages across the way, Loche Ard Gorge, Bay of Islands and the beaches on this very road.
Dandenong Ranges!
- I await to get to the base camp of this particular range as this is known for the 1000 steps journey of climbing. Also, public transport journey to this place is worth to look forward to, as it is known to be a peaceful resting place at the top of it. Also, this place a huge flora history associated to it which brought me closer to the love of visiting this very particular place in Melbourne. I am more in a lurk of taking a hiking experience here, other than the places at my own very country. I know, it won't let me down and make me go lively and fill me with the charm that the nature instills into me each time.
Melbourne Zoo!
- Going out on a safe bet around Melbourne to spend a day with the fauna of the location, is a great option. What I have learnt about it is that it has one the best laid plan. It has been known for the vast assortment of wildlife, which comprises some of the best breeds. It is known for the quality management of the zoo making it one of the best listed on the directory of the man-made fauna parks.
Fitzroy Gardens!
- The peace filled location in the Melbourne city is a great outdoor park. The cook's cottage here is a great place to see, which I would like to see it with my own eyes, and spend a day there with the nature and a book high on my mind at that particular time. What more a bibliophile would want in life ? Well, I have had these experiences of the similar type at other destination. I would love to take back a memory from Melbourne from this beautiful place.
Along with these marked beautiful places at the most liveable city in the world, I love to hop around in the public transport and see the local and closer parts of Melbourne through the City Centre Tram. It is always beautiful to experience any new location in the public transport of the city as that stands more useful and delightful experiences about the place, and provides good learning for the place. This gives the city tour across the main attractions of the city that include the Parliament House, Old Street Building, and many more.
What brought me closer loving this city are the videos of Tanmay and Roy where they are spoilt for the choice of visiting the places in Melbourne and take back the best of memories from the place.

Melbourne, the city that earned some of the best titles for itself, like that of 'City of Literature''Most Liveable city', and many more alike, is one of the top-most destination waiting on my wish-list to be explored.

Here, I would like to ask a question from the readers - Which of these places would you want to visit in Melbourne and why ?
One of the best answer gets to win a voucher worth 500!! Go commenting and winning!
I am looking forward to dig the city deep with TOURISM VICTORIA WEBSITE and Indiblogger.

  1. Great post! After reading your post & watching all the videos, I’d most like to visit the Dandenong Ranges for it’s scenic beauty, breathtaking view and cool breeze blowing through my hair. :P I’d give anything away for driving through the winding roads which are present throughout the ranges. I’d love to stay at one of the bed and breakfast cottages and go on frequent excursions in the forests with my camera which provides excellent views. And not to forget the famous ride in the Puffing Billy, a day reserved especially for that. To add to that, there are also several picnic spots for me and my friends to spend a fun-filled day and the ranges are a perfect spot for hiking and cycling.

  4. Wonderful post and interesting videos that make me feel that
Melbourne invites the eternal romantic in me to hold hands with my beloved and go see the Twelve Apostles .Go on long drives on the great ocean road. In the middle of nowhere in a vineyard spread a table and enjoy a meal and a glass of wine with my dear one. Enjoy the sunsets holding hands and do lots of shopping at the Queen Victoria Market and see all the graffiti being created at the hosier lane.
Great Post and interesting videos watching them I am sure to visit Sovereign Hill for spending some time in the era gone by. The lure of gold and panning for some nuggets is a temptation that is too much to resist. After I have found the gold I am bound to celebrate it with some wine so I will visit the vineyards and enjoy some great wine from the Yarra region .Visit the Pannys Phillip Island Chocolate Factory and have my fill with this yummy delight.

  5. I would like to visit the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) which is located in Yarra Park. Cricket has fancied me since childhood. I still remember those days when the elders in my neighbourhood used to start shouting and hunting for us the moment the cricket ball hit by me broke one of their window panes. Running away from them was even more exciting than playing cricket itself.

I used to follow every cricket match played by India religiously and used to analyse and discuss it with friends and siblings for days and months. Being such an enthusiastic fan of cricket, visiting one of the world’s largest cricket stadiums is one of my dreams.

The thought of being seated amongst 95,000 other fans of cricket and cheering the players itself sounds exciting to me. Such large cricket stadiums are one of the ways to explore how much the passion for cricket has penetrated among the people of the world. MCG is located in Yarra Park, which also has many other sporting fields. This would allow me to explore not just cricket, but also many other games.

  11. Amazing Post!! Greatly articulated..

If I get a chance to visit Melbourne then
I would like to spend my time in the Great Otway National Park, because I love watching animals. I would love to take a city tour by travelling on the Tram's of Melbourne. By travelling in tram's I want to explore every nook & corner of Melbourne. Besides this I would love to watch the amazing architectures of Melbourne like Eureka Tower, Royal Exhibition Building, etc. And without enjoying festivals, my journey would be incomplete so I will celebrate Australian Festivals.
And how can I forget The MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground). As cricket is my favourite sport I would love to watch the Cricket world cup final which will take place at the largest stadium of Australia, that is, MCG.
